Walking Worthy of the Call

The Book of Acts, chapter six, tells us, “The word of God spread” and “…the number of disciples multiplied greatly.” The early Church was a powerful, Spirit-filled movement that laid the foundation for Church expansion that eventually would become billions of believers around the world. Unfortunately, we have lost much of the power and impact of the early Church. In recent years, the Pentecostal-Charismatic movement has spread the power of the Holy Spirit revitalizing the Church and increasing the harvest. Yet, with this increase, we have seen an actual decline of our impact on the world.

What is the key to a life-giving church that will have an impact on all the nations of the world?

The early Church modeled for this present visitation. It is time for the spreading of the Word to have the added dimension of the “multiplication of the disciples”. We have settled for converts and believers when God is looking for life-transformed followers walking the in completeness of Christ as disciples! This level of cultivated experience will bring to pass the prophetic word of Isaiah:

“Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the LORD’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it. 3 Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.” Isaiah 2:2-3 (NKJV)

The Spirit of the Lord is calling out to us in this hour to not only believe, but to be trained to continue in the work of Christ. Will you accept the call of God and live beyond yourself through a life of change? It is time to fulfill His purpose for His Church collectively and His intent for His people individually.

Please note: This book is intended to be used in a discipleship group setting.
